Politics aside, have you looked at either the House or Senate proposed tax plan? I would highly suggest you take time to look at what is being proposed. I am not sure how this is a tax cut for the middle class. Even as I sit here in my designer bathrobe from TJ Maxx and luxury Batman pajamas from Target, I do still consider myself middle class. Under both proposed plans, my federal taxes will increase by more than 20% what I paid in the previous year.
I am all for a simpler tax code, but I did not think I would have to pay a premium for it.
Nothing is final yet, but make sure you are paying attention, because you may end up paying for the new tax cut.
