Why start a blog?
Good question and one I am trying to answer myself. My best guess is my desire to help others and get some thoughts out of my busy mind.
Why the name “Grateful Banker”, well there is a meaning behind the name, but I will save that for a future blog. First let me introduce myself. I’m a father, a husband, an investor, and of course a Banker. My interests are pretty broad, but my current focus is financial independence and simply being happy.
While I won’t restrict myself from what I can write in the future, I do plan on covering various topics I have experience with. Future writings will cover real estate investment, tax lien investment, banking, investing, frugality, early retirement, managing stress (or more likely failing to manage stress), meditation, and frankly anything bouncing around in my head.
I encourage comments, questions, or suggestions. While the blog is a vehicle for me to express myself, my intent is to help others.
Please be patience as I bumble my way around this website. I will be adding content on regular basis and making the site more appealing.
